That’s all it took for Wok Box to be born. Shortly after opening in 2004, there was a line around the block. That was the moment when founder Blair Stevens knew he had something very special.
Growing from that solid foundation on Jasper Avenue in Downtown Edmonton, Alberta, and as the founding franchise of Box Concepts Food Group, we are continually taking our spin on Asian recipes across North America with over 50 stores spanning the continent and one in Qatar.

Inspired by authentic Neapolitan pizzerias in Naples, Firecrust is keeping true to the pizza’s origins as a casual meal at a price that’s accessible for all. We differentiate ourself from other Neapolitan pizzerias, who charge a high price to capitalize on the unique ingredients and cooking processes involved, by focusing on the quality of the ingredients and maintaining cost efficiency for all. All our pizza bases are made with non-GMO 00 flour and our tomato base is made strictly from San Marzano tomatoes.
As a member of the Box Concepts Food Group, Firecrust brings with it extensive franchising and restaurant industry experience. Firecrust has locations in Grande Prairie, Vancouver, Langley, Lloydminster and, soon to open in Calgary, Edmonton and Brandon (MB).
Since our opening our first location in Toronto’s Little Italy, we have been providing premium quality plant-based products to vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians alike. Our plant-based products have been so well received that even the most staunch meat-lovers have joyfully devoured our products.
Although plant-based butchery might seem like an oxymoron, our products are seen as a viable alternative to assist those who are consciously choosing to reduce their meat, fish and dairy consumption. It is our goal to see plant-based foods become a staple of every kitchen.

Box Concepts Food Group saw an opportunity to service smaller but established food service and hospitality consumer’s liquid food products such as sauces, dressings and soups and thus launched Kettle & Foods Kitchen.
Kettle & Foods manufactures proprietary recipes for many food service companies while maintaining full control over the quality and consistency of product supplied. Kettle & Foods produces approximately 40,000 to 50,000 liters of product each month, including 28 types of sauces, salad dressings, spice packs, spice pastes and soups from its 8,000 square foot facility in Surrey, BC.
